Ask the Invisalign Expert: Does Invisalign Work the same as regular metal braces?

So I have some patients who ask me, does Invisalign work better than braces?
Dr. Naqvi:
Great question. And until like maybe 10, 15 years ago, I would have said no. But I wasn't that well trained 10-15 years ago, to tell you the truth. Right? I got very high level of training and I realized, OMG, it works. And I actually have treated patients now that I would have never treated 15 years ago. Well, and it's just because the higher level of training that I got and we've seen so many Invisalign patients that we've had great results, like I've always been able to move the teeth. So yes, it works. If I tell them their teeth is going to move, it will move as long as they wear their aligners. If you don't wear your aligners, like there's no magic that will move your teeth. You gotta just wear them.
